Dr. Zair Shah is a board-certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and fellowship trained interventional spine and pain physician.
Dr. Shah grew up in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. He completed his undergraduate studies at Texas Christian University (TCU). After graduating from TCU, he stayed in the area and earned his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. He then completed his internship at St Pete, Florida and went on to complete his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Casa Colina Hospital located in Southern California. After completing residency, Dr. Shah continued his training with a fellowship in Interventional Spine and Pain Management also located in Southern California.
Dr. Shah specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various disorders of the spine, joints, musculoskeletal system, and other pain conditions. He also has special interest in sports medicine, NCS/EMG, and regenerative medicine. His clinical focus combines a multimodal treatment plan using evidence-based treatments, rehabilitative approaches, and interventional procedures to maximize function and treat the whole patient.
